Recycled Bluegrass Band

AKA: "The Nusing Home Band"
(Playing always.... in memory of Jim Bailey)
Recycled Bluegrass is a band that developed from a previous name, The Jack Tippett Band. With a few members coming and going, the new lead singer of the band, the late Jim Bailey said, "We're just a bunch of 'recycled musicians'". So that's how the name came about.
They have a standing engagement the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the St. Mary's Nursing Center in Leonardtown, Maryland where they entertain with music and laughter to a much acepted audience. They became so popular there that they started attracting some outside fans who would come just to hear them play.
They're just a bunch who enjoy each other and have a good time. They include Jay Armsworthy, mandolin & vocals; Jack Tippett, guitar & vocals; Tommy Alvey, bass (and sometimes vocals); Randy Stillwell, dobro; Frankie Anderson, banjo (and singing an acasional tune); and Woody Norris, guitar & vocals.
They would be glad to play for you local nursing home, private engagement, or even the service of a loved one.
